Dessa joined FUMC in August of 1988. She and her husband John have 2 boys, Paul and Philip. She became part of First Church staff in February 1989 as Secretary to the Business Administrator. Throughout the last several years she has continued to oversee First Church finances in one capacity or another. Her area of responsibilities has widened tremendously as she has moved into the position of Business Administrator in January of 2003. God has equipped her with the gift of administration. We all benefit from her “behind the scenes" ministry, which is a vital ministry in preparing the way for others to reach out in whatever ministry area God has placed them in.
