Rebecca and her young daughters joined First Church in June of 1985. She met many new friends here including her future husband, Bob Carpenter. They met in the singles ministry in 1991 and they were married on January 1, 1994.
Her daughters, Leanne Libby and Kristin Kuck, grew up in this church. They both attended the MDO program and Sunshine preschool and then went on to attend CCA through High school graduation.
Rebecca became part of the staff in August of 1991 as the full time Evangelism secretary and served that role for 3 ½ years. Since 1994, she has served as the Youth and Education Secretary as well as overseeing the wedding scheduling and office equipment.
Her involvement with the youth at First Church has been a rewarding one for both Rebecca and the young lives she has touched.
