Carolyn and her husband Doug joined First Church in 1975 after attending the University of North Texas, and built their family in this FAMILY OF FAMILIES.  First Church played a major role in molding their three sons into Christian leaders and young men who serve the Lord as they begin their family journeys.  Carolyn and Doug have served in ministry leadership throughout the years in Evangelism, Education, Youth and Music.

Carolyn joined the staff of First Carrollton in 1990 as the Education Administrative Assistant for Children and Adult Ministries and also served as Youth Ministry Assistant beginning in 1992.  In 1995 Carolyn was asked to develop the area of Lay Ministry.   Carolyn continues to serve in the role of coordinator, as well as enabling people to begin new ministries, in service to the church family and the community.

In addition to the oversight of Lay Ministry, Carolyn has been the Administrative Assistant to the Senior Pastor and currently serves with Richard Dunagin, helping to build strong families in a FAMILY OF FAMILIES on a Spiritual Journey.
