Born and raised in Dallas, Texas, music and fine arts were Dedra’s passion. She thrives on using the gifts God gave her for His service in church. She has always been active in the church working with numerous ministries, but really felt called one Sunday Morning to focus on worship. That morning, the choir was singing the song “All Things Are Possible.” All of the sudden, she felt an overwhelming sense of peace and knew worship was her calling.

Dedra earned her Bachelor's of Music Education at Stephen F. Austin State University, and is currently pursuing a seminary degree at Liberty Theological Seminary.  Her personal life mission statement is Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."  

Dedra enjoys reading, quilting and machine embroidery in her spare time.  She is married to Doyen Rainey, who is also active in the Worship Arts Ministry and they have a beautiful daughter named Addison.
